What We Hope For Our Pupils
September 2024
When a child in Nsanvu goes to school, it changes things for their family and, over time, for the whole village.
We teach the national curriculum alongside practical skills because we want our pupils to be able to create their own opportunities instead of waiting for them. Youth unemployment is high around here. Young people with real skills, from the classroom and the workshop, are far less likely to be drawn into theft, drink or exploitation because they had nothing else.
We are a Christian school, and our faith is part of everything we do. We want to shape the whole child, their mind, their character and their faith, so they can give something back to the community they grew up in.
What we hope for is a more peaceful, honest community. It starts with the children in our classrooms.
